Ep. 543: The 100-Year-Old Entrepreneur

Guest: Dr. Gifford-Jones

If you were born in 1924, the odds of you living to 100 or over were astronomical – one in 50 million. Today, the story is different. According to Pew Research, “The number of people 100 years of age or older is projected to more than quadruple between now and 2054. Centenarians currently make up just 0.03% of the US population but that number is expected to reach 0.1% by mid-century.”

“Your odds of living a healthy life into and beyond the century mark increase if you live a balanced and healthy life… ‘If’ is, of course, the intangible to living that long. There are so many ways in which each of us can shorten our lifespan,” says Dr. Gifford Jones, the author of “90+ and How I got There.”

Gifford-Jones turned 100 two years ago – two busy years ago. Last year, he wrote another book called “Healthy Retirement Residence Living” and he launched a new product called “Giff’s Own CardioVibe”, which is a natural supplement that adheres to the research of Linus Pauling, regarding the cardiovascular benefits of high-dose vitamin C.

We invited Dr Giffords Jones, the Healthy Retirement Residence Living, to join us for a Conversation That Matters about pushing the boundaries of age and soaring into your 100th year and beyond.
